Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Plateau State has assured plateau Citizens of the legitimacy of it’s leadership.
In a statement signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary, JT Akans, The PDP expressed complete hope on the collectively ability of citizens to speak with through the ballot come March 2023.
The statement called on electorates to use the ballot in ensuring that, they Kick APC out of power due to Governor Lalong’s mismanagement of resources and total failure in times of physical and infrastructural development.
Akans accused Lalong of attempting to mortgage the heritage and future of Plateau state people forever to fulfill his selfish ambition.
According to the Statement, “Plateau State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress ( APC ) is currently on the death bed, sickened by self inflicted injuries and mortal wounds, the party is eliminating itself from political process following its current incoherent position in the state as a result of self inflicted injuries and wounds caused by its own leader”
“These self inflicted and incurable injuries has led the APC into a political puzzlement, and they may not recover up to the Governorship election period in March 2023. As things stands now, the APC may have to be moved to the intensive care unit (ICU)and forced to lose some of its care givers before the election period” the statement reiterated.
The Statement further described the controversies surrounding the APC’s Governorship race in Plateau as a “laughing stock” Characteristics by gross uncertainty which has led to a big confusion in the party which according to Akans, “ the fight will further consume the already sick, frustrated and dying Party” .

He credited the discharged and acquitted of former Governor of the state, Da Jonah Jang, over the ₦6.3 billion corruption charges against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to PDP’s admintrative and resources accountability management ability.
